Most people aren’t comfortable before a photoshoot. They wonder how to stand, whether they’ll feel natural, or if they’ll like how they look in their photos. My work starts before I pick up the camera. It begins with listening, laughing, and creating a space where you can relax and truly be yourself. When you feel comfortable, your real personality comes through.
Growing up in India, I saw beauty in everything. Life itself felt beautiful to me, even in places others overlooked. I was always changing my perspective, shifting my angle, finding beauty in things that felt unimaginable to most. Snapping photos and creating art became my way of holding onto that feeling. At the same time, being artistic felt rare. Most people around me followed paths in science, technology, engineering, and math, and anything outside of that was considered a hobby. When I did find creative, artistic people, they felt like treasures, and I held onto them.
I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in India, trusting that my curiosity and love for beauty would lead me somewhere meaningful. I also felt a deep pull toward California. A sense that there was more waiting for me there. I studied at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, where I earned my Master’s in Communications and Technologies. Later, I earned an MBA in Marketing and MIS, learning how to bring structure and intention to the creative work I love.
Along the way, I also became a Reiki Master, deepening my connection to intuition, presence, and energy. It was during this chapter of my life that I met my beautiful wife, and together we are raising two incredible kids who are constantly growing and changing. Along with our fluffy, lovable dog, Zoe, who keeps life playful. Becoming a partner and a parent has shaped the way I see time, connection, and how quickly life moves. It’s taught me how meaningful it is to pause and be present.
Today, photography is my way of bringing all of that together. I create a space where you can feel comfortable, seen, and safe. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, stepping into a new chapter, or wanting to remember this season of life. My hope is that you see yourself in your photos the way I see you. Full of personality, beauty, and light. If you’re looking for someone to grow with, return to, and trust with your memories, I would be honored to photograph your story.
