Beauty in Aging
Category:
ARTICLE

Women come to me worrying about body image,
wrinkles,
and aging.
Wondering when their beauty started to fade,
or if it already has.
I see how insecurities show up in the body.
The way shoulders lift.
The chest moves inward.
When the weight softens,
even just a little bit,
something inside opens.
What I see through my lens
is very different from what women have been taught to look for.
Aging is beautiful.
It tells the story of an incredible life lived.
Yet we’re told to hide it,
smooth it out,
or fix it.
When you’re told how beautiful you are,
you smile,
say thank you,
and move on.
But it doesn’t sink in.
I think that’s what you’re really wanting.
To feel beautiful.
Only a small part of beauty lives on the surface.
What you see in the mirror,
what most cameras focus on,
that’s just a piece of it.
The rest is in how you show up.
Your presence.
Your strength.
Everything you’ve carried
and become.
That’s what I see
when you step in front of my lens.
My work is for women
who want to feel beautiful again.
I will reflect back to you
the beauty others see.
When you’re with me,
I want you to feel comfortable,
safe,
and at ease.
I’m here to bring forward
what’s already there.
To capture your outer beauty
in a way that lets your inner beauty
be seen
and felt.
Let me show you
how beautiful you truly are.
