Strength & Wellness

If you had asked me ten years ago what my life would look like today, I don't think I would have gotten anything right.

Somehow, the things I never imagined myself doing have become the parts of my life that feel most like me. In my twenties, I didn't picture myself looking forward to lifting weights, blending AI with digital artistry, or enjoying the challenge of building a business. If you had told me then that this would be my life, I wouldn't have believed you.

It's funny how the moments that shape life rarely feel significant while they're happening. Most of them are just ordinary days and simple decisions. I say yes to something challenging, try things that feel uncomfortable, and follow ideas that make me happy. Looking back, I can see how those small choices shaped who I've become.

One of those choices was lifting weights. I never expected to enjoy the gym, and now I love feeling strong! I'm discovering what my body can do and challenging myself to keep improving. I enjoy learning how nutrition, recovery, sleep, and strength training work together. It's fascinating to see how these decisions compound over time.

Earlier this year, I had an in-depth wellness assessment and shared my results with a biohacker and transformational specialist. He estimated my phenotypic age, a measure of biological age, to be 21, compared with my chronological age of 35. I was so excited I wanted to tell everyone! It felt like years of taking care of myself had paid off. And seeing those results made me even more motivated to keep learning and investing in my health.

Photography evolved alongside all of that. What started as something I loved has become a business that continues to challenge and inspire me. Every session teaches me something new, and everyone I meet reminds me why I love what I do.

One of my favorite parts of photography is knowing I'm creating something that becomes part of someone's life. A photograph is something families can hang on their walls, look back on years later, and share with the people they love. Knowing I get to create something that holds that kind of meaning is incredibly rewarding.

I also love working with people who have a good sense of humor. The sessions where everyone laughs, jokes, and enjoys the experience are always my favorite! Those are the moments that feel the most real, and they almost always become my favorite photographs.

One of the new things I've fallen in love with is combining AI and Photoshop to create original artwork. I love starting with an idea and watching it evolve. Every project is a chance to experiment, solve creative problems, and learn something new. The more I discover what's possible, the more ideas I want to create.

I created this portrait of myself with the lion because it reflects how I see this season of my life. I am growing stronger, becoming more confident, and discovering what I'm capable of. I don't know exactly where this creative journey will lead, and that's part of what makes it so exciting.

As I turn thirty-five, I'm grateful for every unexpected turn that brought me here. The moments that changed my life didn't seem extraordinary at the time. The decisions along the way led me to the unexpected. And this is exactly where I am meant to be.
